1. Deputy Director-General - Grade 19 to 20 - Based at NARI Head Office, Bubia, Lae
As per recently realigned organisational structure to make it impact effective, NARI is seeking creative, self-motivated and innovative minded candidates for senior position of Deputy Director-General. This position is an Executive Management position and the Deputy Director-General assists the Director-General in carrying out the responsibilities for the development and management of the Institute. The appointee will lead a team of senior scientific, technical and managerial staff in planning, developing and managing the research, information and technical programs, human resource, finance, statutory and corporate functions, and public relations. 2. Regional Center Manager - Grade 14 to 15 based at SRC, Laloki
As per recently realigned organisational structure to make it impact effective, NARI is seeking creative, self-motivated and innovative minded candidates for senior position of Regional Center Manager. Responsible for planning, prioritizing, coordinating, implementing and monitoring the centre management and development activities including the finance, HR, infrastructure and revenue; ensuring proper accounting, monitoring, reporting and utilization of all resources by following Institute’s management standards, procedures, processes and systems; providing effective logistical support for the functional areas of purchase and supplies, stores, transport, housing, liaison, travel, and security; mobilizing resources and revenue generation; facilitating dissemination of technologies and packages; and providing effective support for piloting technologies, out and up-scaling of technologies in the region.The position is open for PNG Citizens & Permanant Residents. 3. Senior Chemist - Grade 14 to 15 Based at NARI Chemistry Laboratory – Kilakila, Port Moresby
As per recently realigned organisational structure to make it impact effective, NARI is seeking creative, self-motivated and innovative minded candidates for the senior position of Senior Chemist. NARI operates a newly refurbished agricultural / environmental / food / industry support laboratory with instrumentation including GCMS, ICPMS and ICPOES, HPLC, FIA etc. Applicants should have extensive industry background in food processing or mining and ISO QA accreditation to take a leading roll in all aspects of laboratory management. The Senior Chemist will oversee routine analyses, development of new procedures, LIMS, QA and maintenance of ISO 17025, verification of test results, safety, , training and mentoring of staff. 4. Resource Manager – Grade 11 to 12 Based at MRC - Bubia
