New staff looking forward to 2020 and beyond

NARI is pleased to welcome new staff for the 2020 working year.

Among the batch that joined in May and June is a technical officer and four research associates.

The research associates are: Lawerence Uberawa, crop improvement-agronomy, Lucinda Gam, under crop research, Cecily Walter and Alex Galus, with crop research.

Lucy Lapauve joins as technical officer livestock.

They are looking forward towards developing their career pathways and turning challenges into achievements with the institute.   

Also joining NARI is Rose Sabub , Projects Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Mark Tinah as Geographic Information Systems officer, Emmanuel Jim as Design Associate and Israel Maik as Building Associate at the Headquarters in Lae.

The MRC Bubia team is pleased to have Charlie Suruban as Rice Agronomist and Ruth Baiga working under Natural Resource Management. Scott Needham joins the IRC Kerevat team as Commercial Manager while Gure’ahafo Tumae joined the Aiyura team as its Tissue Culture Manager.

Ron Bell joins as Agriculture Development Manager at the Southern Regional Centre, Laloki.
