Objectives
- Development of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for brassica crops
- Selection of vegetable varieties for the high altitude highlands
- Development of improved production methods for high altitude vegetables
Expected outputs
- Recommendations for IPM of brassica crops in the highlands including use of the diamond back moth parasite, Diadegma semiclausum
- Improved variety recommendations for temperate vegetables in the high altitude areas
- Improved recommendations on production practices, especially fertiliser rates and pest and disease management for the high altitude vegetables
